Fafafan works closely with artisans & small workshops in Ghana & Togo using vintage West African textiles.
The intention is to create economic opportunities within communities where craft originates & preserve ancestral knowledge.
Kente and Wax textiles are thoughtfully sourced from local markets in Ghana and Togo.
Neither textiles are merely "clothing"; both are viewed as vital social tools used to signify a social identity or major milestone.
The fan frames are crafted from a combination of wood and recycled leather.
