Roshni Bhuri Silk Bomber Jacket
MADE FOR YOU IN 2 WEEKS
DESCRIPTION
This jacket is crafted from handwoven raw silk, woven slowly on traditional looms to preserve the fabric’s natural irregularities and lustre. The collar is cut from a vintage hand-embroidered saree, upcycled from India’s textile archives — carrying traces of stories, ceremonies, and generations of craftsmanship.
*Each collar carries slight variations in embroidery and design as they are made from different parts of a vintage saree.*
Due to the rare textiles used, this style can only be produced in 1-3 pieces. Once a size is sold, it will not be reproduced.

Rooted in Indian Textile Heritage
Drawing from India’s long-standing weaving traditions where fabric is created slowly on the loom - a lineage of craftsmanship where material carries cultural memory.
Customized for you
Each piece is produced in small batches by skilled female seamstresses. Reach out to us if you would like to choose a unique saree fabric for your very own bomber.
Sustainably & Ethically Made
Each piece is made with vintage, dead-stock sarees. The process prioritizes quality over scale, resulting in a piece that feels considered rather than mass-made.
Words by Mihika] I remember my ancestral home in Rajasthan, a place rich with diverse tribal communities. I was so inspired by the village women who adorned themselves with rich textiles & artistic traditions.
The women would braid their hair using fabric scraps found around the house. This led to my exploration and fascination with turning scraps into something beautiful and meaningful.
This project first took form when my mother and I worked on a personal project - mending a pair of old jeans with scraps, leftover laces, patches from Indian wear - giving what feels like waste, a second life.
Each piece carries a story that is shaped by its journey. It has travelled through Indian markets, village workshops, artisanal homes, and our art studio - reflecting the soul of its origin.
Blending heritage textiles with vintage pieces allows me to create something fresh while keeping a connection to the past. It’s about evolving the materials, giving them new meaning.
